1. National workshop on the Resolution of Conflict through Institutionalisation of Common Cultural Values

• Organised by the Ministry of Culture And Tourism
• The workshop was held on 1 September 2018 in Addis Ababa

2. Promoting Heritage Sites for Socio-Economic Development

• Organized by the Amhara region Culture and Tourism Bureau in collaboration with PROHEDEV
• The conference was held on 22 of September 2018 at Bahir Dar

3. Promotion of Urban Heritage

• Organized by Italian Cultural Institute in collaboration with PROHEDEV
• The conference was held on 19 October 2018 at Addis Ababa

4. Strengthening the Legal Protection of Heritage

• Organized by Agency for Research and Conservation of Cultural Heritage in collaboration with PROHEDEV
• The conference was held on 1 November 2018 at Addis Ababa (UNECA)

5. Protection against Illicit trafficking of Movable Heritage

• Organized by Italian Cultural Institute in collaboration with Tigray Culture and Tourism Bureau and PROHEDEV
• On 8 November there was group tour of Axum World Heritage Site and the conference was held on 9 November 2018 at Axum

6. Education for Strengthening the Protection of Heritage

• Organized by Woldia University in collaboration with Lalibela Municipality and PROHEDEV
• The conference was held on 16- 17 November 2018 at Lalibela

7. Resolution of Conflict through Institutionalization of Common Cultural Values ( follow on conference)

• Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in collaboration with PROHEDEV
• The conference was held on 27 November 2018 at Addis Ababa

8. Protection of Monuments through Lime Conservation

• Organized by Agency for Research and Conservation of Cultural Heritage in collaboration with Amhara Region and North Gondar Zone Culture and Tourism office and PROHEDEV
• The conference was held on 9-17 December 2018 at Gondar

 

 

 

9. International Symposium and Conference on Promoting and Protection of Timber Heritage

• Organized by International Council on Monuments on Site (International Wood Committee (IOMOS) in collaboration with Addis Ababa University and PROHEDEV
• The Symposium, “A focus on Africa” was held from 23- 27 January 2019 at Axum, Atsbi , Lasta and Addis Ababa
• The conference was held at Addis Ababa on 28th January 2019 at UNECA
