Published:
The Royal Enclosure, Gondar's Heritage Conservation Training Centre, early 17th Century, Ethiopia. I am very lucky to be working here running a lime training course for the next 7 days.
Gondar in the 16th and 17th Centuries was a city of extreme brutality and extreme wealth but leaves us today the most romantic royal enclosure built of basalt. It is the location for a lime and conservation training day begining on the 5th December 2018.
